Elinde tuttuğu bardağı yere bıraktı öylece,
Havada asılı kaldı,
Parçalanmadan önceki son bütündü,
Şeffaftı, süzülen su gökkuşağıydı,
Vedalaştı eski haliyle,
Önce şiddetiyle yere çarpacak ve sonra parçalanacaktı,
Parçaları en uzak köşelerde yıllanacaktı,
Çığlığı duvarda asılı kalacaktı,
Dokunanın eli kesilecekti, ayağı kanayacaktı,
Çocuklar irkilecek ağlayacaktı,
Yaşlılar duymayacak,
Gençler gülecekti.
Acıyı ve gerçeği yarasına bastı,
Dünyadan değil, ondan ayrıldı,
Hiçbir kor sıcağında birleşmedi,
Kendisini değil,
İçindeki suyu ziyan etti.

BROKEN GLASS
He dropped the glass he was holding on the floor.
The glass was suspended in the air,
the last one before the disintegration.
It was transparent and it was water that rained through the rainbow.
He said goodbye to his former self.
First, it would hit the ground with violence and then fall apart.
His pieces would age in the farthest corners,
his scream would hang on the wall.
The hand of the person who touched it would be cut and his foot would bleed,
the children would startle and cry.
Elderly ears would not hear.
Young people would laugh.
He dressed the pain into the wound
He did not leave the world, but he left him.
Not himself
He wasted the water in him.
